Tips and habits for using a lifting table
In the past few years, I've spent a lot of time standing up for work, but I also work a lot sitting down.My life has recently begun to balance out with a lift table, and I'm here to share some tips and habits I've learned from it:

1. Work standing up in the morning
When you leave the office at night, keep your desk at a standing height. If you sit in the morning, it's over, because you won't get up.
2. Raise the table when you answer the phone
If a call comes in while I'm sitting, I immediately raise my desk and pick up the phone and say Hello.Make it a rule that if you're talking on the phone, just stand.Do you have too many group meetings?Raise your meeting table so everyone can stand and discuss, and you'll discover how productive meetings can be!
3.Pretend you're on the starship enterprise
I'm serious. When you start working standing up, you feel full of power.Simple tasks, like emailing, make you feel like you've accomplished a task.At first I didn't know why I felt that way, because it was like sitting at work doing the same thing. It turned out to be as cool as working in the enterprise's command room!Stand me up Scotty!
4.After lunch, stand
I used to work standing up early in the morning, and by about 11 o 'clock, I would lower the table.Lift the table when you go to lunch.Working on my feet after I've had enough helps me avoid getting sleepy at lunch. It doesn't matter if I have a big meal. The lift desk keeps me focused for the whole afternoon.
5. Make the chair your enemy
I used to love chairs. Now when I think of them as demons, haha, it's not that serious. But I definitely no longer put the chair in the most important role.My subconscious mind was starting to feel the discomfort of sitting too long, and my head was not calculating when to stand up, but I could no longer sit all day like I used to.Now I have a good habit of forcing myself to switch between standing and sitting.
6.Gradually get used to the days when you start standing
If you're used to working and sitting all day, try to get used to working standing up.I know you'll start out like a mad little fire cow, wanting a quick taste of the benefits of working standing up.But take the time to build your habits. Rome wasn't built in a day.
7. Swing with the music
When you start using the lift table, listen to some music (if you can).Swaying gently to the music can make you forget about the desire to sit down.
8. You can still sit and work
One day, I still spend a lot of time sitting. When I'm doing simple tasks, such as checking email, making phone calls, Posting blog posts, or quickly editing videos, I can do these tasks while standing on my feet. But when it comes to concentration or long hours of work, I often find myself sitting and thinking more easily.Overall, my goal is to spend at least 50% or more of my working day standing up. When I reach this goal, I feel good, and if I can't, I make sure I reach it tomorrow.Watch out for the slippery slope (when you forget to stand at work, sitting time gradually goes back up), and when you have a lift table, set a goal for yourself to avoid a return to sitting.
